How to prepare your timber for Timber Floor Stain & Varnish Black Japan:
First steps, here we go:
New Timber How to prepare new or bare timber/cork:
Punch exposed nails below the surface. If you have any holes and imperfections, they should be filled with timber putty.
Sand timber to an even, smooth surface. Remember to vacuum or wipe your surface to remove any sanding dust.
Note: Prepare uncoated cork tiles in accordance with the supplier's recommendation.
Previously Coated Timber: How to prepare previously coated timber:
Sand your coated surface back to bare timber.
Remember to remove all sanding dust before coating!
